- An external user A makes a call to an internal user B (SIP, ISDN or analog).
- B makes a further call to local user C. These two users can reach each other directly, so the LANCOM VoIP router only handles the signaling by means of SIP; the data transfer via RTP takes the shortest possible route.
- Local user B initiates the call forwarding (attended/with flash) to C.
- The LANCOM VoIP router manages the call forwarding.
Note: In case of SIP at the external subscriber, this requires that Transfer in SIP (re-invites) is fully supported.
